How to make motion graphics with Video Igniter?

Follow these steps to see how easy it is to make motion graphics with Video Igniter

1). Contact Us

To get the ball rolling, send us a message or schedule a call to discuss your project. We’ll help you figure out the timeline and budget to make your motion graphics. Once we agree to the scope of the project, you will receive a production agreement to sign and an invoice for 50% of the project’s budget.

2). Script

Now that production is underway, it’s time to develop the script / concept for your motion graphics. Not all motion graphics projects require a script. If yours does, we’ll spend time learning what you want to show and communicate with your motion graphics. If no script and voiceover are needed, we’ll focus more on developing the visual concepts for your project.

You will receive a digital doc with a writeup explaining what we intend to create. After we get your notes, we’ll incorporate your feedback and run everything by you again before we move forward with production.

3). Storyboard

Now that we have the script (or concept) fleshed out for your motion graphics, we’ll develop sketches to show how they will look and how they will change over time.

You will receive a digital copy of the storyboard to review with your team. Add everyone’s feedback to the storyboard and let us know when your revision notes are in. We’ll integrate your revisions and share an updated copy of the storyboard with you to review and sign off.

4). VoiceOver

If your motion graphics include a voiceover, we’ll help you make the narration. You will receive several voiceover auditions to review. Give them a listen and let us know which is your favorite. We’ll hire that person to record the full narration for your project. You get an opportunity to listen to the full recording and request edits (if needed).

5). Soundtrack

If your project also includes music, we’ll make some soundtrack selections for you. Give them a listen and let us know which is your favorite. We’ll take care of licensing the music so we can legally use it when we make your motion graphics.

6). Illustrations

Making illustrations for motion graphics happens in two stages.

First, we create concept art based off your brand guidelines and animation style references. Give them a detailed review an share your honest feedback so we can work with you to revise and refine your favorite concept until it’s perfect.

Then, we use the concept art as the basis for creating the rest of the illustrations for your motion graphics. You get an opportunity to review all of the illustrations before we animate your motion graphics.

7). Animation

Now that everything is approved, we can make your motion graphics. As soon as the first draft is ready, you will receive a link to download a copy of your motion graphics. Review them with your team and share your feedback with us. We’ll integrate your revisions and render out the final draft of your animation.
