How to make a corporate animation with Video Igniter

Video Igniter will guide you through these steps to turn your idea into a custom designed corporate animation:

1). Get In Touch

To get the production process started, we want to learn about the corporate animation you want to create. We’ll ask you about who your target audience is, what you want to communicate in your animation and what you want to show in your animation.

Then, we’ll develop a budget and a production plan to make your corporate animation.

When you’re ready to move forward, you will receive a production contract to sign and an invoice for 50% of your production budget.

2). Script

Now that production is underway, it’s time to develop the script for your corporate animation. If our writers need to learn more about your talking points and the overall communication goals for your corporate animation, we may schedule a brief call.

When the first draft of the script is ready, you will receive a link to a digital copy of your script which you can review and share with your team. Everyone can add their comments directly to the digital document.

3). Storyboard

4). VoiceOver

After the storyboard is approved, we’ll send you voiceover auditions to listen to. Let us know which person is your favorite and we’ll hire them to record the full narration for your corporate animation. You will get a chance to listen to the full recording and request edits, if needed.

5). Music

You will also receive a handful of soundtrack selections to listen to. Let us know which one is your favorite and we’ll acquire the appropriate license(s) to use the music in your corporate animation.

6). Art

Next, it’s time to create the art. Video Igniter’s art director will start by creating a few pieces of concept art for your animation, based of your corporate brand guidelines. When you review the concept art, share your honest feedback with the art director so they understand what you like and dislike about each concept.

After the concept art is perfected, we’ll create all of the art for your corporate animation. You will get an opportunity to review all of the illustrations and request edits, if needed.

7). Animation

Now that everything is approved, we can animate your video!

You will receive a digital copy of the animation to download and share with your team for feedback. We also recommend circulating the animation among members of your target audience to get their feedback as well. After everyone has had a chance to share their thoughts, send everyone’s feedback to us. We’ll integrate your revisions and render out the final draft of your corporate animation.

The normal production timeline for a 60-second 2D corporate animation is about 4-5 weeks. If your company likes to do multiple rounds of revisions or needs to circulate content internally with legal and brand teams, you may want to pad your production timeline by a week or two.

3D animation and hand drawn animation usually take about 6-10 weeks to create 60-seconds worth of animation.

If your animation is longer than a minute, add a week or two for each additional minute of content we create for you.
