Why make an animated video for your corporation?
Quality Presentation = Quality Attention
People will pay attention to your message longer because of the time and care that was put into making a delightful, easy to understand, concise presentation.
Quality Attention = Improved Retention of Information
Animated videos help people remember information better than if they had merely read a paragraph explaining what was happening. Visuals and voiceover reinforce each other to explain new information to the viewer in a way that creates memorable metaphors. If you want your target audience to remember what you told them, use a custom animated video to tell them.

How to make a corporate animated video
Script
The first step of the corporate animated video production process is writing the script. We’ll start the production process by sending you a questionnaire to help us understand what you want us to cover in your video. Then we’ll write the first draft and send it to you to review. If you love it as-is, we’ll move on to creating the storyboard. If you have any feedback or revisions, send them our way and we’ll update the script for you. We’re happy to jump on a call if we need to discuss any details related to your video.
Alternatively, you can write the script yourself! We’ve created several guides to teach you how to write a script for your animated video that supports your business goals:

Storyboard
The next step of the corporate video production process is creating the storyboard. The storyboard is the blueprint for your animated video. It tells the illustrators what to create and it tells the animators how to animate the illustrations. We’ll brainstorm ideas for the visuals that correspond with every sentence of your script and describe how the animators should make them move. You get a chance to review the storyboard and request revisions before we proceed to the next step of the production process.

VoiceOver
Now that the script and storyboard are locked in, we can get the voiceover recorded for your animated video. We’ll start by ordering auditions from a few voiceover talents that we feel can deliver the appropriate tone and energy for your corporate video’s narration. This enables you to hear what kind of energy the voiceover talent will bring to your specific script – instead of just relying on their demo reel.
Once you’ve identified which voiceover artist you prefer, we’ll hire them to record the full voiceover and procure the appropriate license to use their voiceover recording for your corporate video. You will get a chance to review and approve the script before moving forward with production.
Soundtrack
While we’re getting voiceover auditions for you, we’ll also select a few soundtracks that we feel will enhance the presentation of your corporate video. You will get a chance to review them and select your favorite option. If you aren’t happy with any of the options, let us know why and we’ll select new options for you to review. If you like a few options and can’t decide which one you like best, we’ll let you preview the soundtracks alongside the first draft of your animation so that you can feel which one works best.
After you’ve decided which soundtrack you prefer, we will procure the appropriate broadcast license to use the soundtrack in your animated video.

Illustrations
The first step of the art creation process is to develop concept art. We need to design and refine the visual style for your animated video before we create all the illustrations for your video. Our art director will review your corporate branding and style references and use that to develop custom concept art for your video. They will take one key scene from your video and design it using one or more unique visual styles.
Once you’ve reviewed the concept art, let us know what you like and don’t like about each of the options you received. If one style stands out to you, we can work with you to refine it until you love it. If you like aspects of multiple pieces of concept art, we can combine the best parts of each into a new piece of concept art. Not a fan of any of the options? That’s ok! Let us know what your thoughts are and we’ll develop some brand new concept art for you until you are 100% satisfied.
After the concept art is approved, the art team will create the rest of the illustrations for your animated video. You get an opportunity to review them and share feedback for revisions before approving the art for animation.
Animation
Finally! All the pieces are approved and it’s time to animate. For normal short projects, it takes one video animator one week to animate each minute of video. Need your video produced faster? Talk to us about rush delivery animation.
When the first draft of your animation is ready, give it a detailed review and share it with members of your target audience. Collect all their feedback and share it with your animation team to get the final draft produced.
