How To Hire An Animation Agency

How do I work with an animation agency to create my video?

The animation production process is broken up into six stages. Let’s take a look at each of them so that you understand what happens during each part of the production process.

1). Get a Quote

When you’re ready to start creating your animation, reach out to each agency you are interested in hiring and ask them for a quote.

Feel free to schedule a call if you want to get to know our animation agency more before you commit to a production company for your video.

After you select an animation agency for your project, you will receive an invoice for the first 50% of your production budget.

2). Script

Now that production is underway, our animation agency will spend time learning about your key messages, your target audience and their needs. Then, we’ll create the first draft of your animation’s script.

We will review the script with you to ensure it conveys all of your key talking points in a way that resonates with your target audience. If revisions are needed, we’ll update your script and share the 2nd draft for you to review and approve.

3). Storyboard

Next we turn your script into a storyboard. This gives our animation agency a visual blueprint to know what to create for every part of your script. Each page contains a sentence from your script and a mockup + description of the visuals and actions that happen.

Give the storyboard a detailed review and let us know if there are any revisions you’d like to see. We’ll incorporate your feedback and share an updated storyboard with you to review and approve for production.

4). VoiceOver

You will receive multiple voiceover auditions to listen to. Let us know which voiceover talent is your favorite and we’ll hire that person to record the full narration for your animation. You get an opportunity to review the audio and request edits before approving the audio for production.

5). Soundtrack

You will also receive several soundtracks for your animation. Give them a listen and let us know which one is your favorite. Our agency will take care of securing the broadcast rights so that we can legally use the music in your animation.

6). Illustrations

After your storyboard is approved, Video Igniter’s art director will review the storyboard and your brand guidelines so they can create custom concept art for your animation.

Give the concepts a look over and let us know which concept is your favorite. You can even collaborate with our art director to refine your favorite visual concept until all of the details are perfect.

Then, our animation agency will use the concept art to create all of the illustrations that are described in your storyboard. When all of the art is ready, you get an opportunity to review everything and request edits before we animate your video.

7). Animation

Now that everything has been approved, our agency can animate your video! As soon as your video is ready, you will receive a link to download your animation. Give your animation a detailed review with your team and members of your target audience. Then, collect everyone’s feedback and send it to us. We’ll integrate your revisions and render out the final draft of your animation.

What does it cost to hire an animation agency?
