How To Make A 2D Animation With Video Igniter?
Let’s take a quick overview of the 2D animation video production process so you have an idea of what’s involved during each stage of production:
1). Contact Us
Send us a message or schedule a call with our production team when you’re ready to get a quote for your 2D animation video.
We’ll work with you to create a production budget and timeline to create your dream video. We’ll also spend time getting to learn who your target audience is and the key messages you want to convey in your animation.
2). Script
After our kickoff call, Video Igniter’s script writing team will create the script for your 2D animation video. We’ll review the script with you, collect your feedback and make revisions as necessary.
3). Storyboard
Next, our storyboard artists will turn your script into a storyboard. The storyboard acts as a blueprint for your 2D animation video. It provides instructions to the illustration and animation teams so that they understand what to create during every scene in your animation.
We’ll review the storyboard with you to ensure all of your key messages are presented in a way that resonates with your target audience. If needed, we’ll make edits and send you a 2nd draft of the storyboard to review and approve for production.
4). VoiceOver
You will receive several voiceover auditions from us. Select your favorite VO artist and we’ll hire them to record the full voiceover. You get an opportunity to listen to the full voiceover and request edits before approving the audio for production.
5). Soundtrack
We’ll also send you several soundtrack options that we feel can be used to enhance key moments in your 2D animation video. Let us know which soundtrack you prefer and then we’ll purchase the broadcast license for the music so we can legally use it in your animation.
6). Illustrations
After your storyboard is approved, Video Igniter’s art director will develop several visual concepts for your animation. Select your favorite visual concept and collaborate with our art director to refine the details of the concept art until it’s perfect.
Then, our illustration team will create all of the illustrations needed for your 2D animation video. You get an opportunity to review all of the art and request revisions before approving the illustrations for production.
7). Animation
Now that everything has been approved, it’s time for us to animate your video. Animation tends to take about 1 week for each minute of video we create for you. As soon as the first draft is ready, we’ll set up a time to review your 2D animation video with you. We’ll collect your feedback, integrate your revisions and render out the final draft of your animation for you to use.
