Record The VoiceOver

Hiring a voiceover artist can be cheap. You can avoid paying for expensive voiceover licenses if you record the voiceover for your video yourself. Watch 1:31 in this video to see how you can do it for free.

Create The Storyboard

Creating the storyboard for your animation business video can save you an additional $500 off the cost of each minute of content we create for you. Download our free storyboard template and review the included storyboard creation guide to see how easy it is to make.

Find Free Music

Stock music can be cheap – however, we’re creating an animated video to help your business – so we need to buy a commercial and or a broadcast license so we can legally use the music in your video. This can add hundreds or thousands of dollars to your production budget. On the other hand, if you want to spend time looking for royalty free music for your video, we can use it in your business video without having to bill for expensive licenses. Check out sites like Incompetech and Facebook’s sound collection for large libraries of free music.

Start Production ASAP

The easiest thing you can do to save 10%-50% or more off your production budget is to start production as soon as possible. Rush delivery is available if you need to speed up the production process – but it can increase your production budget by 10%-50% or more. To avoid or minimize paying extra for rush delivery, send us a message or schedule a call and we’ll work with you to develop a production plan and budget for your animation business video.

Are you looking for different types of animation examples? Send us a message to let us know what kind of production example you want to see and we will follow up with some relevant production samples.

What are the different types of animation?

Whiteboard Animation

Whiteboard animation is one of the cheapest types of animation you can hire someone to create. This type of animation looks like a person hand drawing images on a whiteboard in sync with a narrative voiceover. Sometimes, this style animation is produced using a real whiteboard and a human illustrator drawing on camera. Other times, the effect of drawing on a whiteboard is simulated by having images appear to be drawn into view while a stock photo of a hand holding a pen moves across a whiteboard.

Whiteboard AnimationPros: whiteboard animations are a highly effective and low cost way to quickly produce video content that is engaging and helps get your point across.

Cons: There are limitations to what you can show. Additionally, the visual format may be perceived as “cheap” for certain brands.

2D Computer Animation

2D animation is the most popular type of animation used these days. Occasionally referred to as vector animation or motion graphics, this type of animation offers near limitless visual styles for your illustrations and the motion design used to animate your video. Some types of 2D animation can be quick and cheap to produce while others require larger budgets and more time to produce.

Pros: Excellent balance of professional, high-quality design techniques and affordability without requiring months and months of production.

Cons: Don’t get sucked into looking for the cheapest 2D animator. Low cost 2D animators are easy to find but their work will reflect poorly on your brand’s perception.

Types Of Animation 2D And 3D

3D Computer Animation

3D animation is a high end visual format that’s typically reserved for feature length films and 3D visualizations for scientific, medical, chemical or structural content.

Pros: Visualize 3D objects with a high level of visual detail to make it easy for your viewers to understand complex topics.

Cons: Requires a large budget and months to produce.

Cel Animation

types of animation cel animation

Cel animation, also referred to as traditional animation or hand drawn animation, is the style of animation you’re familiar with from your childhood. Saturday morning cartoons (and animated advertisements) from our youth were typically created by talented illustrators drawing and coloring each individual frame of video by hand.

This classic animation technique requires more time and a large budget to create compared to 2D computer animation. However, the fluidity of the motion design is the best and most artistic form of animation anyone can create. If you want to captivate your audience with visual eye candy that holds their attention, this is the route to go.

Pros: Beautiful and visually engaging content. This style of animation does the best job keeping your audience engaged.

Cons: Expensive and can take months to produce.

What does it cost to make different types of animation?

Types Of Animation Cost

Whiteboard Animation

Sometimes this can be as little as $1,000 for a 60 second animation but it’s more likely to be between $1,500-$2,500/minute.

2D Computer Animation

Most types of 2D computer animated videos can be produced for $1,500-$7,500 for each 60-seconds of content we create for you.

3D Computer Animation

Simple forms of 3D animation can be produced for as little as $5,000 for a 60-second animation. However, most 3D animations will cost over $7,500-$10,000 for each minute of footage that’s created. To put this into perspective, high end animation studios like PIXAR make animated movies which cost over $1,000,000 to produce each minute of video.

Hand Drawn Cel Animation

Simpler versions of cel animation can be produced for about $7,500 for a 60-second video. However, it’s more likely that cel animation will cost over $10,000 for each minute of content that’s produced.

Budget Saving Tips For Different Types Of Animation

Types Of Animation Budget Saving Tips

Combine these tips to save $1,000 or more off your production budget for all types of animation:

1). Write The Script

You can save $500 off the price of each minute of animated video content we create for you – regardless of the type of animation, if you provide the script for the project. Download our script writing template for guidance to help you start writing your script.

2). Record The VoiceOver

You can save $25-$50 off the price of your voiceover if you record it yourself. If your project is a paid commercial project, this enables you to avoid paying an extra $100-$500 for commercial and broadcast rights to use the voiceover in your video. Watch 1:31 in this video to see how easy it is to record professional quality voiceovers at home for free.

3). Source Free Music

A simple soundtrack license is included in the price of making each type of animation. If you source a royalty free song to use in your video, we can deduct $25 from your production budget. If you plan to pay to promote your video for a commercial project, you will need to pay the extra cost for additional broadcast rights for the music. This can add $100-$400 (or more) to your production budget. If you source royalty free music from sites like Incompetech or Facebook’s sound collection, you don’t need to pay these extra music licensing costs.

4). Create The Storyboard

You can save an additional $500 off the price of each minute of video we create for you if you provide the storyboard for your project. Download our free storyboard template and review the included storyboard creation guide for tips to help you get started.

How do I create a video with 2D animation and 3D animation?

How To Create 2D Animation And 3D Animation

This step by step walk through will guide you through the production process so you understand how to go from the idea in your head to the final draft of your animation.

Step 1: Get A Quote

2D Animation And 3D Animation Quote

Start by contacting Video Igniter and any other other studio you’re considering to get a quote for your project.

Provide as many details as possible about your project so you can get an accurate quote for your video. Be sure to describe how much 2D animation and how much 3D animation you intend to include in your video.

Once you receive production quotes from each company, review their animation portfolios before making a final decision for your project. After you’ve made your selection, notify the studio. You will receive a production agreement to sign and an invoice for 50% of your production budget.

Step 2: Write The Script

2D Animation And 3D Animation Script

Download Video Igniter’s Free Script Writing Template

The script for your animation acts like the skeleton for your whole project. It helps us organize your key messages into a story that resonates with your viewer.

You will receive a copy of the script to review with your team. Add your feedback to the document and we will integrate your revisions until you approve the script.

Step 3: Create The Storyboard

Next, we turn your script into a storyboard so we have a prescriptive blueprint that tells our production team exactly what to create in every scene.

You will receive a digital copy of the storyboard to review with your team. Add your comments to the storyboard and we will integrate your edits until everything is perfect.

Step 4: Create The Concept Art

You will receive multiple pieces of concept art from our art director. Let the art director know which concept is your favorite. If you’d like, you can collaborate with the art director to revise and refine your favorite concept until it looks perfect.

2D Animation And 3D Animation Concept Art

Step 5: Create The Illustrations & 3D Models

After the concept art is approved, our 2D animation and 3D animation teams will independently begin work on their respective parts of production.

The 2D animation team will create all of the illustrations for your video and give you a chance to review the art and request revisions before they start animating.

2D Animation And 3D Animation Illustrator

The 3D animation team will start by creating black and white 3D models for your video. You will get an opportunity to review the shape and form of the models so you can make revisions  to how they look. After the 3D forms are approved, we’ll add color, textures and lighting to your models so they look the way they will appear in your video. You get another opportunity at this point to review all the models and request edits before approving them for production.

2D Animation And 3D Animation Model

Step 6: Produce The VoiceOver

You will receive multiple voiceover auditions for your animation. Give them a listen and let us know which one is your favorite. We’ll hire that person to record the full narration for your animation. You will get a chance to listen to the full recording and request edits (if needed) before we use the narration to create your animation.

VoiceOver

Step 7: Select Music

Our audio team will select a handful of soundtracks that can be used to enhance the presentation of key moments in your animation. Give them a listen and let us know which one is your favorite. We will take care of acquiring the appropriate license(s) so we can legally use the music in your animation.

Music

Step 8: Produce The Animation

Now that everything is approved, we can animate your video! The 2D animation team and 3D animation teams will initially work independently to create their respective parts of the animation. As soon as each team completes their work, you will receive the first draft of the 2D animation and the 3D animation. Give them each a detailed review and let us know if there are any revisions you want us to address. After both parts are approved, we will integrate your 2D animation with the 3D animation to finalize your video.

2D Animation And 3D Animation Animator

You will receive the unwatermarked version of your animation after you pay the final invoice for your production budget.

What does it cost to make a video that uses 2D animation and 3D animation?

2D Animation And 3D Animation Cost

First, let’s break down the difference between 2D animation costs and 3D animation costs. Then we’ll discuss how much it costs to create a video with 2D animation and 3D animation.

2D Animation Costs

If you were going to create a video that only uses 2D animation, the price per minute is usually between $1,500 and $7,500. If you want to use high end traditional animation that’s drawn by hand, the price per minute is usually over $10,000.

3D Animation Costs

3D animation costs can start as low as $5,000 for 60 seconds worth of video but your production budget will more likely be above $10,000 for each minute of content we create. To put this into perspective, a 90 minute 3D animated PIXAR film costs over $100,000,000 to produce. That’s over $1,000,000 to create each minute of the movie!

2D and 3D Animation Costs

2D Animation And 3D Animation Production Budget

If you want to create a video that combines 2D and 3D animation, here two scenarios that will help you estimate the budget range for your project.

Scenario 1: 50% 2D Animation and 50% 3D Animation

Let’s say you want to create a video that includes 30 seconds of 2D animation and 30 seconds of 3D animation. To estimate your production budget, take the estimated cost for a minute of 2D animation ($1,500-$7,500) and divide it by two to get the estimated budget range for 30 seconds of 2D animation ($750-$3,750). Now do the same thing with 3D animation – take the estimated cost for a minute of 3D animation ($10,000+) and divide it by two to get the estimated cost for 30 seconds of 3D animation ($5,000 or more).

Add the two together and you get an estimated budget range of $5,750-$8,750+ for a 60-second animation that is 50% 2D animation and 50% 3D animation.

Scenario 2: 2D Animation With 3D Animation On Top

Let’s say you want to create a 60-second 2D animation video that also includes some 3D animations overlaid on top of the 2D animation. First, estimate how many seconds of 3D animation will be added on top of the animation. For this example, let’s say there will be 20 seconds of 3D animation in total. The 3D animation cost will be 1/3 of the estimated cost of a minute’s worth of 3D animation – so 1/3 of $10,000 = $3,333.33. Next, pull up the estimated cost for 60 seconds worth of 2D animation ($1,500-$7,500 -> or $10,000+ if you want to create traditional hand drawn animation). Add the estimated cost for 2D animation and the estimated cost for 3D animation to get the estimated budget range for your project: $1,500-$7,500 + $3,333.33 = $4,833.33-$10,833.33.

Want help figuring out a more precise budget for your project? Send us a message or schedule a call with our production team and we’ll help you calculate the exact amount for your production budget.

How long does it take to create a video with 2D and 3D animation?

2D Animation And 3D Animation Production Timeline

There’s a handful of variables that will affect how long it will take to create your animation. This breakdown will help you estimate how long it will take to create your video.

2D Animation Production Timeline

2D animation takes less time to create than 3D animation. A 60-second animation usually takes 4-8 weeks to produce. If your video uses fancy hand drawn animation, it may take an additional 2-4 weeks to complete your video.

3D Animation Production

3D animation takes 2-3x more time to create than 2D animation. We’ll start production on the 2D and 3D parts of your animation at the same time but the 3D components may take a few more weeks to finish – depending on the length and complexity of the content we create. If the 3D components are minimal, we may be able to finish the 3D animation before the 2D parts are complete.

Combining 2D and 3D Animation

As soon as the 2D and the 3D parts of your animation are complete and approved by you, we will integrate the two together. This phase of production should only take a few hours or days depending on the complexity of the integration.

Want help figuring out exactly how long it will take to create your video? Send us a message or schedule a call with our production team and we’ll create a production plan to see how quickly we can make your animation.

2D & 3D Animation Budget Saving Tips

2D 3D Animation Budget Saving Tips

Looking for ways to lower your production budget? Combine these tips to save $1,000 or more on your production budget you hire Video Igniter to create a video with 2D animation and 3D animation:

1). Write The Script

Writing the script for your project can save you $500 off the cost of each minute of video we create for you. Download our free script writing template to get started.

Script Template

2). Record The VoiceOver

We can deduct the cost of hiring a voiceover artist if you want to record the narration yourself. Watch 1:31 in this video to see how you can record professional quality voiceovers for free.

3). Find Free Legal Music

If you source free music that we can legally use in your video, we can deduct the cost of buying soundtrack licenses from your production budget. Check sites like Incompetech and Facebook’s Sound Collection for free, royalty-free tracks we can use in your video.

4). Create The Storyboard

Creating the storyboard for your video can save you an additional $500 off the cost of each minute of video we create for you. Download our free storyboard template and review the included storyboard creation guide for tips to help you get started.

Storyboard Diagram

5). Minimize The Use of 3D Animation

This is kind of an obvious one but it’s worth mentioning. 3D animation is expensive. By minimizing the use of 3D animation and relying more on 2D animation, you can probably lower your overall production budget by $1,000 or more.

6). Start Production ASAP

The easiest thing you can do to save 10%-50% or more off your production budget is to start making your video as soon as possible. Quality animation (especially 3D animation) takes time to create. You can pay extra to speed up the production process for your upcoming deadline but it can easily add 10%-50% or more to the final production budget.

We recommend starting production as soon as possible to avoid or minimize paying for rush delivery. Send us a message or schedule a call to start discussing your 2D and 3D animation project today.

Let’s explore the pros and cons of the different types of 2D video makers so you can assess which production option is best for you.

Option 1: DIY

Sites like Wideo, Powtoon and Vyond enable you to make explainer-style videos online. Each site has it’s own mini video editing program and a library of pre-designed characters, scenes and objects that you can use to make your 2D video.

Pros: This is the cheapest option because you create the video yourself.

Cons: A moderate level of onboarding and learning is required since you are making the video yourself. Videos use pre-designed visuals so other companies will have videos that look like yours.

Option 2: Hire a Freelance 2D Video Maker

Freelance 2D video makers are an affordable option for producing custom animated videos.

The answer to this question depends on the following criteria:

  • How long will your animation be? (30 seconds-2 minutes? Or is it a feature length movie?)
  • When do you need the final draft of your animation?
  • Are you going to create the script and storyboard? (Or do you want our animation studio’s best storytellers to create them for you?)
  • What style of animation do you want us to create? (2D? 3D? Cel-Animation?)

If you want to produce a feature-length film like your favorite PIXAR animated movie, the total budget will be over $100,000,000 (over $1,000,000 for each minute of the movie).

On the other hand, if you want to create a short animation that’s only a few minutes long and uses 2D animation, your production budget will likely be between $1,500 and $10,000 for each minute of video we create for you.

Start by contacting each studio you are interested in hiring and ask for a quote for your video project. It’s helpful to provide the following information when you request a quote:

  • Describe the full scope of the project.
  • How long will the video be?
  • What kind of visual style do you want your video to use?
  • How soon do you need the final draft?

After you receive all of your production quotes, we recommend evaluating them while you review each studio’s animated video portfolio. Once you select the best animation studio, send them a message to let them know you are ready to move forward with production. You will receive a production agreement to sign and an invoice for the first 50% of your production budget.

Step 2: Write The Script

best animation studio script

Download Video Igniter’s Free Script Writing Template

Now that production is underway, it’s time to write your script. The world’s best animation studio will ask you the following types of questions to help create your script:

  • Who is the target audience for your video?
  • What key messages do you want to convey in your animation?
  • What do you want viewers to do or feel when they’re done watching your animation?

Our studio’s best script writers will use this information to develop the first draft of the script for your animation. You will receive a link to review your script with your team. Have everyone add their comments & revision notes to the doc. Then, our writers will work with you revise and polish your script until it is perfect.

Step 3: Create The Storyboard

Download Video Igniter’s Free Storyboard Template

After your script is approved, our team will turn your script into a storyboard. The storyboard acts like a blueprint for your animation. It tells our animators exactly what to create for every part of your script.

You will receive a digital copy of the storyboard to review with your team. Add your comments to the doc and we’ll integrate all of your revisions. If something needs to look a specific way in your video, let us know so we can add photos, sketches, 3D models or links to videos to show exactly what you want to present in your video.

Step 4: Create The Art

best animation studio concept art

Once your storyboard is approved, the best art director from our animation studio will begin creating concept art for your video. The art director will review your brand guidelines and style references before creating one or more visual concepts for you to review.

Give the concepts a good look over and let the art director know which concept you like best. If you like, you can spend some time revising your favorite concept with the art director.

best animation studio illustrator

When the concept is locked in, our illustrators will create all of the illustrations for your animation based off the approved visual concept. You get an opportunity to review all of the illustrations and request edits before approving the art for production.

Step 5: Record The VoiceOver

voiceover

You will receive several voiceover auditions to listen to. Let us know which narrator is your favorite and we’ll hire them to record the narration for your animation. You will get an opportunity to listen to the full recording and request edits (if needed).

Step 6: Select Music

music

Our animation studio will select several soundtracks for your video. Give them a listen and let us know which soundtrack has the best fit for your animation. We’ll take care of acquiring the appropriate license(s) to use the music in your video.

Step 7: Animate

best animation studio animator

Now that everything is approved, it’s time to animate your video! As soon as the first draft is ready, you will receive a link to download a watermarked copy of your animation. Give it a detailed review with your internal team and members of your target audience. Collect everyone’s feedback and send it our way. We’ll integrate your revisions and share an updated copy of your video with you.

After you mark the final draft as approved, we’ll send you the final invoice for your animation. You will receive the unwatermarked version of your video after payment is complete.

How long does it take to work with the world’s best animation studios to create a video?

best animation studio production timeline

The answer to this question depends on what kind of animation you want to produce. If you want to hire the world’s best animation studio to create an animated film… the average PIXAR movie takes over 5 years to go from idea to release in movie theaters.

On the other hand, if you want to hire one of the world’s best animation studios to help you create a short 1-2 minute video, it will only take 4-12 weeks to make your video.

How much does it cost to make a 2D cartoon animation?

2D Cartoon Animation Cost

Most 2D cartoon animations can be produced for a budget between $1,500-$7,500 (for a 60-second video).

If you want to create an animation that looks more like the style of the Saturday morning cartoons we used to watch when we were growing up, you’ll need a bigger budget. This type of animation uses a labor-intensive style of production called “Cel Animation” or “Hand Drawn” animation. Cel animation requires a larger budget to make your video – starting at $7,500 to create each minute of video.

How long does it take to create a 2D cartoon animation?

2D Cartoon Animation Production Timeline

There are two answers to this question.

1). If the 2D cartoon animation is produced using modern computer animation techniques, it will take about 4-6 weeks to create a 6o second animation.

2). If the 2D cartoon is produced using a traditional style of animation where every frame is drawn by hand (on paper or on a computer/tablet), the production timeline will be closer to 8-12 weeks for a 60 second animation.

Traditional Animation | How To Create A Traditional Animation

Do you want to hire an animation studio to help you create a “traditional animation” but aren’t sure how or where to get started? Luckily, you’re in the right place! Video Igniter’s guide to traditional animation has answers to all of your questions, including:

  • How much does it cost to make a traditional animation?
  • How long does it take to create a traditional animation?
  • Can I create a traditional-style animation with Video Igniter?
  • What is the difference between traditional animation and modern animation?
  • How do I hire the right animator (or studio) for my project?
  • What is the production process like?

All that, plus tips to help you save $1,000 or more off your production budget! But first, let’s take a look at examples of traditional animations that Video Igniter’s production team can create for you:

Traditional Animation Examples

Video Igniter can make any kind of 2D or 3D animation for you. For additional production samples, check out our animation portfolio or request access to our demo reels and price sheet.

Are you looking for a different type of animation example? Send us a message to let us know what kind of production example you want to see and we will follow up with relevant production samples.

What is the difference between traditional animation and modern animation?

Traditional animation, also referred to as “hand drawn animation” or “cel animation” is the old school technique of creating animations on paper by drawing and coloring each individual frame by hand.

These days, traditional animation is still used to create videos by individually drawing each individual frame on a computer or tablet.

Traditional animation is able to achieve a very detailed, fluid and realistic (or comically unrealistic) motion design. Most animated short form that’s produced on computers these days (think “Explainer Videos“) use motion graphics and vector animation to create the illusion of motion without having to individually draw in every single frame by hand. This makes it possible to produce animated content much quicker and at a lower cost – but, you lose some of the fluid detail that traditional animation is known for.

Can I create a traditional-style animation with Video Igniter?

Yes! Send us a message or schedule a call to discuss your project and get a quote for your video.

How much does it cost to make a traditional animation?

Traditional Animation Cost

Traditional animation is more expensive than modern styles of animation and requires a much larger budget to create. Budgets for traditional animation usually start at $7,500-$10,000 to create 60 seconds of video. It all depends on how much detail you want to include in the illustrations and motion design. Traditional animation can easily cost over $20,000 for each minute of content that’s created.

An episode of The Simpsons costs substantially more to produce, but Video Igniter can help you create traditional animations for a fraction of the price of one of the big industry studios.

Get a quote for my traditional animation.

How long does it take to create a traditional animation?

Traditional Animation Production Timeline

Broadcast television shows made with traditional animation require 14-18 months of work per episode before it runs on air. Production companies like Video Igniter are more nimble and can help you produce content faster than ‘the big guys.’ That being said, traditional animation still requires a good amount of time to do the job right. A 60-second animation can take anywhere from 8-12 weeks to produce.

Need to speed up production for a deadline? Video Igniter offers rush delivery animation.

What is the traditional animation production process like?

Traditional Animation Production Process

The traditional animation production process is similar to the modern animation production process – it just takes more time and occasionally has an additional production stage called an “animatic.” Let’s take a quick overview of the production process so you understand how to go from ‘idea in my head’ to the final draft of your animation.

1). Get a Quote

To get production started, contact us for a quote along with any other studios you’re considering hiring for your traditional animation project.

Traditional Animation Get A Quote

Once you have all the quotes in front of you, we recommend reviewing each company’s animation portfolio one more time to determine which producer has the best mix of

  • Production Quality
  • Production Terms
  • Turn Around Time
  • Budget
  • Customer Service

Let your preferred animation studio know you’ve selected them. Then, you will receive a production agreement to sign and an invoice for the first 50% of your production budget.

2). Write The Script

Traditional Animation Script

Download Video Igniter’s Free Script Writing Template

Now that production is underway, we will spend time learning about what you want to show in your animation so we can create your script. We’re interested in learning things like:

  • What do you want to communicate in your animation?
  • How do you want the viewer to feel when they’re done watching?
  • Who is your target audience?

After we learn more about your communication goals, our writing team will use this information to create the first draft of the script for your traditional animation. You will receive a link to a copy of the script so you can share it with your team and add your comments.

Our writers will collaborate with you and polish your script until it’s perfect.

3). Create The Storyboard

Traditional Animation Storyboard

Download Video Igniter’s Free Storyboard Template

Next, we turn your script into a storyboard so our production team has a visual blueprint for your traditional animation. The storyboard makes it easy to see which illustrations need to be created for every part of your script, and how those illustrations should move in sync with the voiceover.

You will receive a link to download a copy of your storyboard. Give it a detailed review with your team to ensure we document all of the visual details that need to be shown in your traditional animation. If something needs to be displayed a very specific way, we will include photos, images, sketches or links to videos that clearly show our production team what to create.

4). Create Concept Art

Traditional Animation Concept Art

Once the storyboard is approved, our art director will review your brand guidelines and create custom concept art for your traditional animation.

Share your honest feedback about the concepts with our art director. Let them know which concept you prefer. You can also collaborate with the art director to refine the visual details of your favorite concept until it’s perfect.

5). Record The VoiceOver

VoiceOver

You will receive several voiceover auditions to review. Give them a listen and let us know which voice(s) you would like to use in your traditional animation. We’ll oversee the recording of your voiceover(s) and share the full recording with you when it’s ready to review.

Let us know if there are any parts of the script that you’d like us to rerecord.

6). Create The Animatic (if needed)

Sometimes when animators create traditional animations, we add an extra step called an ‘animatic.’ The animatic takes sketches from the storyboard and syncs the visuals with the timing of the voiceover. This helps the production team figure out how to sync the timing of the animation with the voiceover.

Animatics are particularly useful for complex scenes that may include synced mouth movements, detailed background movements, character animation or comedic timing. While this step isn’t required all of the time, we occasionally add this step in the production process to help us save time during the animation phase of production.

7). Create The Illustrations

Traditional Animation Illustrations

After you approve the concept art, our illustration team will create all of the custom illustrations for your traditional animation. You get an opportunity to review all of the art and request revisions before we animate your video.

8). Select Music

Music

Our team will select a few soundtracks that we feel will do a good job setting the mood and enhancing the presentation of key moments in your animation. Give them a listen and let us know which one you like best.

9). Animate

Animate Traditional Animation

Now that everything is approved, we can create your traditional animation! Our production team will line up all of the illustrations we’ve created (called “key frames”) so they are timed with your voiceover. Then, we’ll spend time hand drawing all of the individual frames to add motion to your video. As soon as the first draft is ready, you will receive a link to download a watermarked copy of your animation.

Give your traditional animation a detailed review with your team and members of your target audience. Collect everyone’s feedback and send it our way. We’ll integrate your edits and render out the final draft of your animation.

You will receive the unwatermarked version of your traditional animation after you pay the final invoice for your project.
